Tomorrow!

Saying bye to everyone has been very emotional, but I can't wait to get to DC and meet everyone, and to finally arrive in Africa. I hope I can talk to friends and family a fair amount. Im really excited to start documenting my trip through journaling and photography. I've heard a lot of good things from people who've gone to South Africa, and I know it'll be the experience of a lifetime. This will be the last post for a few weeks as I'm leaving tomorrow! Can't wait to write about more experiences as they come. <3

Leaving so soon!

Only two more days left here in Boulder, Colorado. Everything seems to be coming up so fast, time really flies. I'm getting a little nervous about the trip. mostly missing my family and friends. I know the first few weeks will be tough, but after I'm comfortable with all the girls and teachers I know I'll have the time of my life. Really looking forward to staying with a host family, and creating relationships with everyone. Packing is stressful but I finally think I have everything. I am going to miss everyone so much!
